A considered polishing process can improve gloss and the appearance of suitable surface defects. The starting condition sets the limits; a measured approach protects the long-term interests of the paint.

The decision is not simply how much shine to create. Paint condition, history and a test spot shape a proportionate approach to refinement.

We inspect the vehicle in controlled light, discuss previous repairs and identify areas that need caution. Where appropriate, paint measurements inform the working approach. A test area gives a more useful basis for decisions than a blanket promise of perfection.

A single-stage polish balances improvement, time and cost for many maintained vehicles. More involved correction may be appropriate for suitable paint and a particular brief. We explain the distinction and agree what will remain before proceeding.

Safe washing and decontamination help remove interference before polishing. Masking protects sensitive trims. Work is reviewed under suitable light, then the surface is prepared for the agreed protective finish. Preparation is part of the service, not an optional shortcut.

Polishing removes a small amount of clear coat. Deep scratches, stone chips, failing paint and some repaired areas cannot be safely resolved by machine polishing. A detail is not body repair. An assessment identifies when a different specialist is the right next step.
